There's a statement out this morning fromPelosi, Reid and Dean to all the superdelegates that they have until THIS FRIDAY to make up their minds:
"We have come to the end of an exciting primary and caucus process - the voters have spoken. As the Democratic leaders of the Senate, House of Representatives, the Governors and the Democratic National Committee we commend all of the participants of the 2008 primary process, especially Senators Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, for making this such a transformational election. Because of the enthusiasm our candidates have inspired, our party has brought record numbers of voters to the polls, gained millions of newly registered Democrats and now has advantages in states many thought were difficult to win. We are grateful to the millions of Independents and Republicans who have crossed over to vote for a Democratic candidate for President.
My gorgeous creature, my furry little best friend, my beautiful little critter is 16 years old and is dying of lymphatic leukemia....

Mostly she seems the same, just sleeping more and slightly more fussy about food. She's still jumping up on my lap, running up and down the stairs (she likes to gallop down 2 steps at a time, and then she turns around and looks at me, like "Are you coming??) She still gives me hugs and kisses.
According to CNN right now, it's NOT OVER and Hillary has changed her schedule to campaign in West Virginia today.
Candy Crowley is definitely being an apologist for her, giving all sorts of justifications for continuing, that she's gotten all sorts of new small donations since Pennsylvania and can go back to those donors. Both of them are saying that the campaign is still very close when in fact is is nothing of the sort.....
John King is going through the math and describing how the math just doesn't add up
Now, Mark Halperin says she's meeting with Superdelegates today as well, so we'll see how THAT goes.... All eyes on those Supers today...
As a reminder to people, the Oregon Primary is NOT really May 20th, it's actually happening RIGHT NOW because it is a vote by mail state. I have my ballot right here next to me on the couch. People are VOTING NOW. Unfortunately we won't be getting results until the 20th....
So if you're volunteering and phone banking, I'm guessing tomorrow and the next several days before West Virginia will be an EXCELLENT time, given tonight's momentum, to get on the phone with Oregoners to get them to send in their ballots marked for OBAMA.
Just sayin'.
Sign up here to phone bank from home to Oregon!
The Hillary-endorsing New York Times Editorial Page has had enough and tells her to STFU.
Voters are getting tired of it; it is demeaning the political process; and it does not work. It is past time for Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton to acknowledge that the negativity, for which she is mostly responsible, does nothing but harm to her, her opponent, her party and the 2008 election.
The article falls short of calling on her to drop out, but it calls on the Superdelegates to end the race.... It also acknowledges that Obama is starting to get worn down by this and is starting to take the bait a bit. I agree with this. I think he needs to hope it up some more somehow...
Come on, please?
Oh, PulEEZE....
PLEEEEEEEZZ, PLEEEEEZZZZZZ, PLEEEEEEEEZ.
PLEEEEEEEZZ, PLEEEEEZZZZZZ, PLEEEEEEEEZ.
PLEEEEEEEZZ, PLEEEEEZZZZZZ, PLEEEEEEEEZ.
PLEEEEEEEZZ, PLEEEEEZZZZZZ, PLEEEEEEEEZ.

Team Clinton is planning on attempting to win this election via Superdelegates, and her team is upset at and turning up the heat on Howard Dean to seat the delegates for Michigan and Florida, according to a fundraiser who attended a pow-wow with Clinton and her campaign management team yesterday, as reported by TPM.
The fundraisers...persistently questioned Hillary advisers about what could be done about Florida and Michigan. There was a pronounced sense at the meetings that Howard Dean needs to do more to resolve the situations in those states. "There was very much a sense that people want Dean to do more," the fundraiser says.
Good news from California. All the Decline to State votes shall be counted, and the double-bubble ballots are to be abolished!
Just got this email from Rick Jacobs from the Courage Campaign:
Dear Buffalo Girl,
We won!
After weeks of bad news, here's the good news: Tens of thousands of "Decline-to-State" (DTS) voters -- who intended to cast a ballot for Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton on Super Tuesday -- will now have their "double bubble" votes counted by the Los Angeles County Registrar of Voters.
And it's because of you.
Hey, enough about Obama and Clinton for this evening. Let's talk OSCARS!
Been watching the red carpet and people are starting to show up. It's raining in LA but they've got it handled with a canopy that still allows a lot of light in.
Fave so far is Ann Hathaway with a GORGEOUS red gown. She looks stunning.
George Clooney has gone in already, and he looked great as usual, as did his girlfriend.
Nominations here
For all your unsubstantiated rumors, hopes, speculation, desires, fantasies.....and facts....
It turns out it doesn't look like Richardson will endorse anybody today,as he's in DC.
From NBC's Andrea Mitchell and Lauren Appelbaum
With Obama in New Mexico today, there's been speculation that Richardson might endorse Obama. Yet as it turns out, Richardson happnes to be in DC today doing state business, lobbying for an Air Force cyberspace command contract at the Pentagon.
A recent study released today from Hervard University has uncovered some remarkable scientific phenomena that may be the deciding factor in who gets elected the next President of the United States, and may in fact also effect elections for years to come. Below is an incomplete sampling of those rules and phenomena, based primarily on millions of interviews and blogposts over the last 8 years.

CAMPAIGN BREAK!
So the Academy Awards nominations will be out in about 10 days, and nomination polls are closing today.
What do you think will get nominated? What's the best of the year? What's overrated?
I've seen a lot of the Oscar bait movies this year and some I've liked and some I haven't.... My faves are Charlie Wilson's War, Eastern Promises, Michael Clayton and The Kite Runner. I'm going to see Juno today.
I thought Daniel Day Lewis was GREAT in There Will Be Blood, but otherwise the film was overrated and slow. It never built the way I thought it would.
...the shredders overheated.
...the stairway to Hell was left open.
....a spark from his robotics caught fire.
....someone's head exploded after a briefing on Cheney's justification for going to war with Iran.
....the smoldering ashes of the Constitution caught the curtains on fire.
I'm sorry, ya just do. How can you not love a Democrat who sends out an email saying "I will eat Rudy Giuliani alive at a debate."
Folks, we've seen how dangerous it is to elect a president who doesn't understand how the world works. The last thing we need in the White House is four years of George W. Giuliani, or George W. Romney. Notice we haven't heard a word about their plans to reach a political solution in Iraq.
I promise you, when I am the Democratic nominee next year, I will eat them alive at the debates
If yes, then get on the phone. It ain't over yet, and there may be some room for pressure to still make a difference.
From Josh Marshall:
This article at CQpolitics notes the possibility of a Dem-filibuster of Mukasey's nomination. And a few random unnamed birds chirping up on Capitol Hill suggest that more pressure might prevent Mukasey's nomination from getting over the 60 vote hurdle.
To me this reads that Josh has some staffer sources from Capitol Hill who believe that if enough people call, it could have an impact. We cannot miss this opportunity to be that pressure....
...with the Dems on the Judiciary Committee on the Mukasey nomination: Feinstein, Kohl, Feingold and Schumer. Phone calls right now can really make an impact, especially if people are right on the fence as Feingold is...
