Iraq War Propaganda in U.S Colleges??
Thu Jan 10, 2008 at 10:02:08 PM PDT
AT what point do we decide as a society that the Government is propagandizing students to support PUSA policies or wars?
Should public Universities work with the Department of Defense?
IF so to what degree is acceptable?
When a government supplies colleges with money to develop military technologies is this blatant propaganda or is it a normal function for Universities to allow students to broaden their technical engineering skills??
Music Revolution!

Just thinking about the amount of change that our country needs to return to an actual Democracy is extremely taxing mentally, spiritually and emotionally.
As I have read these diaries I have almost decided to stop even bothering with politics or believing in social change. It seems that we are stuck in a society that feeds upon human blood, takes advantage of the poor, and begins war out of a desire for quick profit for the rich, while keeping it out of the eyes of a media dazed public...AND NOBODY CARES.
DailyKos must make this information from this website available to the world. Some have taken to the streets in D.C. Others make documentaries, post things on our car windows, houses and etc.
These things will attract more attention, however, we need a complete revolution of conciousness if change is to occur.
In the hope that seeds of vast change will blossom before we are screwed 30 years from now with even more war, death, poverty, overpopulation; I suggest the soothing, meditative qualities of music to bring us back to the present challenge.
So music lovers of DKOS: What songs are most enlightening to you right now as you seek change?
GOP 2008 secret strategery!!

I have secretly been working for Guiliani's campaign for the past 4 months and I have to tell you us Repubelicans are hankering for a real man to lead this country. Guiliani has been all pomp and no circumstance! He has no military/taekwondo training, hell even most of us believe he doesn't workout much. This leaves our party in a dangerous position: due to the recent Zeitgeist videos and other internet conspiracies nobody will believe us when we tell them that tower 7 accidentally fell when Guiliani called down Zeus-like divine retribution on Al Qaeda from the Heavens with his thundering virile voice.
Based on many factors the obvious candidate of choice for the Republicans is listed below the fold!

Not only will he destroy Democratic hopes for 2008 he will piss on our dreams! ....and roundhouse kick our communist-girlymannish liberals to the curb.

This will be a short diary because I'm about to head into work. My opinion of the day is this: dailykos.com is only affective to other liberals or people who are paying attention to what is going on. How do we change this? I think we should go on the offense.
more below the fold.

In my attempt to remain an educated citizen and to broaden my insight, I from time to time get news from conservative news outlets, which I will not include because this HTML thing is getting on my nerves, as well as other sources that are less right skewed. Although I personally find the articles that are represented via headlines on the website to sometimes slightly keep me informed of issues the headlines generally contradict the actual story that they represent. For example, a few days ago the headline read "The War in Iraq is Lost," over a huge picture of Harry Reid (D). When I read the article, Harry Reid did say "the war in Iraq is lost" but the rest of the sentence said something like.. "by the policies of the Bush Administration." I might write more on this subject in a later article.
Today I read an article about the current debate and the ruuude comments coming from the mouth of John McCain as he attacked one of the most talented leaders the Democratic party has known in a while, Barack Obama. Sorry about the shout out (not really). What really disturbed me were the comments on politico to the story and the rediculous racist and violent comments that its heavy audience of far right readers left.
